Adult Summer Reading

Guidlines

  • For participants 18 & older
  • Registration starts Monday, May 20th and ends Friday, July 19th. Register at the Reference Desk or in the Children's Department.
  • Participants may read any adult/young adult fiction book, non-fiction book or audiobok. For every book you read, submit a book entry into the basket upstairs.
  • A reading prize winner will be drawn each week. The more you read, the better your chances!
  • We will also have door prizes for some events.
  • Registration is required for some programs as indicated in the calendar.

The Birmingham Books and Babes and the North Shelby Library are pleased to announce a romance author get-together. Local authors, Hailey Edwards, Moira Rogers, Kit Rocha, Angela Blount and others will be meeting with us. Books will be available for purchase; there will also be a Q & A session. Refreshments served.
